Bakers everywhere are hoping to learn the inside secrets to baking European artisan breads, pastries & those special German pretzels at home.  

The Hains House will offer a 5-day European Baking Class taught by a professional European Master Baker guest instructor on March 10 -15. Now is your chance to learn how to make outstanding artisan breads baked in a wood-fired oven and delicious, professional European pastries! 

I love German bread. So, one day I just hopped on a plane to learn from the native experts at the superb German Bakers Academy in Weinheim, Germany.

_After earning my International Diploma in German Baking, I returned home with a suitcase filled with spices and brotforms. Baking friends told me they dreamed of taking hands-on baking lessons in Europe. Cookbooks and forums just weren't cutting it. But the cost for international travel was too high. Or schedules were too booked.

The Hains House had a mission to make your European baking dreams come true! I am happy to announce that our first 5-Day European Baking Class will be offered on March 10-15. 


And we are still counting our lucky loaves that a European Master Baker has graciously agreed to provide instruction at The Hains House. Our Master Baker has over 30 years of professional experience, is a skilled, hands-on instructor, and is a man both patient AND entertaining. How much better does baking get?

CLASS SCHEDULE, PAYMENT & REGISTRATION


Arrive on Saturday, March 10th at 5:00 PM for evening meal and introductions. Course instruction begins the morning of March 11th. Course concludes on the afternoon of March 15th.

Cost for the Course:

Includes 5 days of hands-on instruction, course recipes, gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinners & accommodations at The Hains House B&B. Cost is $1200. Deposit to save your place is $600 with the balance due on or before March 1, 2012.

Class cost may be negotiated depending on accommodation needs.
